Synopsis

When 16-year-old Emma—a girl who was happy with her life—is admitted to the hospital’s intensive care unit, her parents, Meredith and Fred, anxiously await news from the doctor. Distraught, they realize that despite all their daughter’s assurances not to worry, they should have been worried. What happened to her? Amidst toxic friendships, isolation, text messages, mockery, and humiliation, Emma’s life had rapidly spiraled out of control.
