The comic book

With half a million copies sold, the first volume of Putain de chat was number one in comic book sales for two weeks after its release!

Each gag can be read individually, but each volume has its own storyline. The story evolves with the characters. Other characters make an appearance, such as a pigeon or a spider. The tone is deliberately dark and dynamic, and it is precisely this angle that appeals to fans of the series. If you love cats, if they get on your nerves, if you find them completely crazy but you’re totally smitten with them, this comic book is for you.

The panels highlight the relationship between the cat and its owner, with humour arising from the contrast between the feline’s unfiltered thoughts and the owner’s completely overwhelmed attitude, who melts at the affectionate meows of his tomcat. The cat then allows itself to speak its mind freely, and each of its actions, well known to cat owners and previously incomprehensible, takes on a whole new meaning.
